OFFWIND – RACING – ASYMMETRIC SPINNAKER
This is an area that is undergoing significant development in the sail making world. With the changes to IRC rules on Code sails and the previous 75% girth rule asymmetric spinnakers can now be tailored to work both deep down wind and as close winded as 50̊ by blending a mix of sailmaking technology and improvements in fabrics. Not quite the magic sail that does everything perfectly but a quiver of carefully selected off wind sails will cover most eventualities. We select, the best high performance downwind and cross wind materials matched with a custom design for each sail to precisely match your boat, style of sailing and type of racing.
