OCEAN HEADSAIL – CROSS CUT – HANKED
Our Ocean Headsails are manufactured in a high-tenacity polyester sailcloth, as a cross-cut design. We bond and then seam each panel (including on graduated and shaped reinforcing patches) in at least 3 rows of 3-step Zig-Zag in Sunstop UV-resistant thread.
Complete with loops at the tack and head, stainless steel pressed rings at the clew with webbing back up, telltales up the luff, an adjustable leech line that exists near the clew to a metal cleat, sheet lead indicators and bronze piston hanks; this headsail is specifically built for durability and long-distance sailing.
Complete with a high quality Cordura drawstring bag and a sail trim guide written by our team of experts.
OCEAN SPECIFICATION
Our team has designed the ocean headsails to include: A check tape on the luff for added durability, an up’n’over or ‘round clew’ leech line with purchase (if necessary), double tapes/flat tapes on the leech and foot, seam strainers (if necessary), a large ‘O’ ring in the clew, covered webbings and a high grade Weathermax UV strip for added resistance against UV.
We offer a hank upgrade to Stainless Steel Wichard style / Lash on Bronze Sprenger hanks for larger yachts.

FABRIC UPGRADE
We offer fabric upgrades using woven hybrid materials such as Vectron and Hydranet for cross cut construction as well as a range of superior warp-oriented branded woven polyester, hybrid and laminate sailcloths suitable for tri-radial construction.
