CRUISING HEADSAIL – RADIAL CUT – HANK ON
Kemp Sails Performance Cruise Headsails are manufactured in a sailcloth dedicated to radial construction. We bond and then seam each panel (including on graduated reinforcing patched) with 2 rows of 3 step zig-zag Sunstop threat that hosts advanced UV protection.
This specification comes with stainless steel pressed rings at the head, tack as well as at the clew, bronze piston hanks up the luff, an adjustable leech line that exits near the clew, telltales up the luff and camber lines across one side of the sail. Complete with sail trim guide and high quality Cordura drawstring sail bag to store your sail in during the off season.
UPGRADES
Our Performance Cruise Premium headsails are manufactured in a sailcloth dedicated to radial construction and offers a number of upgrades to your hardware and finishes. The Performance Cruise Premium specification includes an adjustable leech line that exits near the clew through a metal cleat that is concealed within a secure pocket, a foot line and Velcro luff retention strap, camber lines across both sides of the sail and sheet lead indicators.
HARDWARE UPGRADE
We offer a range of hardware upgrades to suit various styles of sailing, including stainless steel hanks, soft hanks or Sprenger hanks and up and over leach line or around clew leach line systems for high clewed sails. Webbed O rings head tack and clew, double tape luff, leach and foot tapes are also available. FABRIC UPGRADE
We offer fabric upgrades that include a range of superior warp-oriented branded polyester sailcloths, and laminate options for radial construction as well as hybrid wovens for cross cut construction such as Vectron.
