UPGRADES
Our Performance Cruise Premium Furling Headsails are manufactured in a sailcloth dedicated to radial construction and offers a number of upgrades to your hardware and finishes. The Performance Cruise Premium specification has shaped reinforcing patches that extend along the leech and foot to assist with load bearing when reefed as well as, an adjustable leech line that exits near the clew through a metal cleat concealed within a secure pocket, a foot line, Velcro luff retention strap and sheet lead indicators. Camber lines are also placed across both sides of the sail, and your sacrificial UV strip can be in any standard Odyssey fabric.
HARDWARE UPGRADE
Adding a foam luff to help with sailing performance when reefed is a great option depending on the size of sail and which type of furler you have fitted; please ask one of our team for advice on this subject. Webbed O ring at the tack with back to back u/c protection, double taped luff for improved stretch resistance. Over head or around clew leach line systems for high clewed sails.
FABRIC UPGRADE
We offer fabric upgrades that include a range of superior warp-oriented branded polyester sailcloths, and laminate options for radial construction as well as hybrid wovens for cross cut construction such as Vectron.
Other colours of Odessey UV protective fabric are available for a small charge or you can upgrade your UV material to Weathermax which offers significantly longer life and better chafe resistance than standard polyester.
