Getting Your Sails to us

GETTING YOUR SAILS TO US

Once your sail care pack arrives you will need to package your sails carefully to avoid the chance of them getting damaged in transit. Your sail care pack includes:

  •  PVC name tags that include your name and customer number pre written. If pre-arranged the labels will include the sail type
  • Our “Guide to packing your sails for transit”
  • Cable ties for attaching the tags to your sails and bags
  • Clear adhesive “Documents Enclosed” envelopes with our address inside
  • Sailcare instructions form (see below)

PACKAGING YOUR SAILS

  1. Secure the relevant PVC tags to all sails and where required sail bags
  2. Print and fill in the “Sail Care” form below as comprehensively as possible, including any instructions for the team. (eg. “There is a tear 1/3 of the way up the leech that needs to be repaired”).  The more accurate and specific you are at this stage, the faster we can complete the work.
  3. Pack your sails/covers into cardboard boxes, or strong bin liners (see the enclosed document for more guidance)
  4. Finally, place your completed sailcare instruction form into the “Document Enclosed” envelope, behind our address, and adhere to the package.

Once your sails are ready for our courier to collect, please phone our office on 01929 554308 and inform us on how many packages you have, and the weight of each package. We will need at least 24 hours notice for your sails to be added to our collection manifest.
