Sails are a major investment, so at Kemp Sails we strive to provide sail care and servicing that help you to with maximise your sails’ performance and lifespan.
The location of our lofts places Kemp Sails in two accessible locations that are within easy reach of many coastal locations along the south coast. If you’re uncertain about the condition of your sails or simply want peace of mind, consider our comprehensive Healthcare Check. Our expert team will thoroughly inspect your sail and provide a detailed written report outlining any necessary work along with an estimated cost. Much like an MOT for your car, this check can highlight potential issues, helping you avoid unexpected expenses in the future.

WHAT TO EXPECT
With our team of sailmakers being sailors themselves, we are positioned to provide you with a service that we would expect ourselves. At Kemp Sails we have set strict standards that we believe each service must adhere to, whether you are having an annual wash, repair work or replacement parts.
We have lofts in two locations along the South coast and can arrange collection of your sails from boats that are located in marinas between Portsmouth Harbour and Portland. We also have secure drop off points in Gosport and Premier Swanick which have 24/7 access, in addition we are able to arrange collection of any sails from addresses in the UK.
Once the service is completed we offer free storage of your sails here in our climate controlled sail loft until the beginning of the next sailing season. If you wish to take up this offer we simply ask that the service invoice is settled within 14 days for the free storage to apply.
Please note that your box must be under 30kg and no larger than 1000mm x 600mm x 400mm. Larger consignments will attract a surcharge, as does collection from the “Highlands and Islands”
