BOOM COVER
Mainsails are a significant investment so a good well-fitting sail cover is essential to ensure your investment is protected. All our sail covers are built in marine grade acrylic canvas, and feature a zip up front for ease of use. The base of the cover is, as standard fitted with buckles and clips to make it a quick and simple job to fit after a day on the water.
PACKAWAY (2 PART SYSTEM)
Bespoke design “Packaway” mainsail cover manufactured in synthetic woven acrylic offering high UV resistance and colour stability.
Classic design with separate front boot and body sections. Features our unique high load lazy jack attachment points and sewn in UV resistant Sun Stop thread.
Our packaway also features reinforced lower exit positions for reefs, with bolt rope and slider base for loose-footed sails or tape base for rope-footed sails. There is a protected top zip.
PACKAWAY (1 PART SYSTEM)
Bespoke design “Packaway” mainsail cover manufactured in synthetic woven acrylic offering high UV resistance and colour stability or Weathermax for a lighter weight body whilst offering the same levels of UV protection and colour stability. One part design with integrated front and body sections allowing the cover to cinch around the luff of the main aft of the mast. Features our unique high load lazy jack attachment points and sewn in u/v resistant Sun Stop thread. Also features reinforced lower exit positions for reefs, with bolt rope and slider base for loose footed sails or tape base for rope footed sails. Protected top zip. This design is best suited to fractional rigged boats.
UPGRADES
Fully adjustable braided lazy jacks complete with mast turning eyes. Mesh panels in sides of cover to allow for air movement and drainage when the sail is stowed. On passage tie don straps to allow the sides of the cover to be rolled down and secured when sailing
SUNSLEEVE
Sun Sleeve covers can be used in place of a conventional u/v strip so particularly useful on yachts looking for a performance gain by not having a UV strip fitted to the headsails. If you carry multiple headsails a sun sleeve is a great choice.
Manufactured from Odyssey Polyester or Weathermax the covers will be durable and lightweight. The cover features a full-length zip and cinch lines allowing the cover to be securely tightened around the rolled headsail.
