Hi, I’m Vicki, I’m likely to welcome you to Kemp Sails: when you call you will probably speak to me first as I’m ‘first responder’ on the phone, and sit at the front desk in our main loft in Wareham.
I’ve finally come back to sailing after a 30 year break that was filled with children, making things and running – but mostly children! Now they’re grown and flown the nest, my husband and I have bought a Wayfarer and have joined the local sailing club, and we hope to get out much more now.
However, it turns out that I am personally responsible for the terrible weather because I brought the boat in the summer of 2023 – just before it all got wet and windy…sorry! Luckily my rusty sailing skills are balanced nicely by being able to swim quite well as the first trip out was a bit wet..!
