ABOUT US
Kemp Sails was formed way back in 1985 when the use of CAD and CAM was in its infancy, and our design and construction methods were fairly old school. Not completely hand sewn, but still a very hands on experience. In many ways this assists us with the modern construction methods of design and manufacturing as we are able to visualise what a sail will look like whilst it’s still in its exploded parts. This is a skill that’s virtually impossible to teach, and one of the main reasons our sailmaking team are sailors first
and foremost.
At Kemp Sails, we believe that the blend of modern technology with traditional skills allows us to provide you with sails that will not only fit well and enhance the performance of your boat, but will give you many years’ service.
